The French artist Lucien Delarue (1925 - 2013) was born in Paris. He studied at the studios of Grande Chaumiere, Paris, as a pupil of Maitre Yves Brayer. Early on, he began taking part in exhibitions and winning first place medals and prizes. Many exhibitions in Europe followed, along with subsequent exhibitions in New York and San Francisco. Many important European and American collections include Delarue's work.
