The prominent French artist Jean Rigaud (1912 - 1999) received his early art education from his legendary father, Pierre Gaston Rigaud. Later studies at the Ecole de beaux-Arts in Paris helped him refine his unique style that made him famous. At one time, Jean was the official artist of the French Navy and held over 50 one-man exhibitions at all the leading Parisian Salons. He is represented in the permanent collections of at least ten French Museums.
